After 25 years in the photography industry, I’m sharing my knowledge and experience with other passionate photographers who are prepared to deeply emerge into this workshop to bring their work to the next level. Get in touch if you are interested in this class on a one-on-one basis.
By utilizing the powerful tools of solution-focused coaching, this workshop covers many aspects of the process, from executing an idea to getting hired and having your images published. It helps you to find your way in the photography industry.
ABOUT ME
I’m an internationally recognized photographer. My work is defined by its approachability, perceived spontaneity, and energy. Beyond just being technically proficient, my approachable manner and ability to connect with people are the key to my success and signature style. I am one of a few successful female photographers in a widely male-dominated industry. Having developed my career residing in the fashion and commerce capitals of the world: Zurich, Paris, London, New York, and Los Angeles, I have an international clientele base.
Using examples drawn from my personal experience, I guide you through essential knowledge about the photography industry, teach you about the vices and virtues of life as a working photographer and help you find your own identity as a photographer.
COURSE DESCRIPTION
Do you know how to take photographs and get jobs here and there from people you know? Now what? Learn what it means to be a working photographer and how to get there.
• Where do you stand in your career, and what are your goals?
• How do you get booked as a photographer by people outside your social network? How to start that process methodically?
• What are the roles within an agency and within a team on a professional shoot? And how do you approach them?
• What’s the difference between a test and personal work?
• How do you build and refine your portfolio?
MY GENERAL APPROACH
Like my shoots, this workshop is framed as teamwork (whenever possible). I like to work closely with my students, so they get mentally involved, resulting in various centers of their brains being activated to get the whole experience and set a solid base for success.
AFTER-WORKSHOP-COACHING
I encourage you to view this workshop as the start of a process. It is highly recommended that you continue your explorations after the workshop. One-on-One Coaching Sessions are available to stay on track with your progress. Please inquire.
This workshop is for photographers who at minimum have the basic knowledge of photography technique.
Whether you aim to shoot fashion, lifestyle or portraits I can bring your commercial photography career to the next level.

Additional credentials to coach/mentor:
Diana received a Bachelor/Masters (Photography) from Zurich University of the Arts, Switzerland.
Diana received the basis of her photographic knowledge from her VET Diploma (Photography), Federal Vocational College, Switzerland.
Diana is an Erickson Certified Professional Coach (ECPC). She completed the Solution-Focused Transformational Coach Training at Erickson International College.
Diana is an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) certified by the International Coach Federation.
Diana is a Certified Hypnotist/Hypnotherapist whose practice incorporates elements of NLP, EFT, cognitive neuroscience as well as Ericksonian techniques. She studied at the Center for Integrative Hypnosis in New York City with Melissa Tiers and is a member of the National Guild of Hypnotists.
Diana successfully completed Brain and Neuroplasticity at the International Quantum University for Integrative Medicine.
